hey guys. im in the middle of swapping out my transmission and i have a couple of questions. i have an 89 240 that had a bad transmission so im swapping it with a better one. the transmission im putting in is off a ka24de. i know that they are pretty much the same. so heres the questions.
- there is a vaccum line on the newer tranny and my old one doesnt have one at all. does it go anywhere or should i just plug it up?
- there is an extra sensor that my other transmission didnt have. anyone know what it is? do i need it?
- the speed sensor on my old transmission had a wire coming out of it where as the new transmission uses a harness to plug in. can i just find any 2 prong connector that fits and wire it up? or do i need a new speed sensor?
