Traveling for work - any tips?

By no means am I exclusive to one carrier all of the time. You are correct, there are sometimes better flight options on other carriers and better pricing. I try to stick with USairways but if I can fly direct or find a shorter flight time with someone else, I will take that flight.

In general and all things considered equal(pricing, flight times), if you can stick with one carrier you will be rewarded with some perks. Once I hit the 25 segments mark with USAir, I get free first class on almost every flight after that.

I love to travel, but the only thing about that for me is that I LOVE TO DRIVE EVERYWHERE

I like to drive so I can see almost have the country in one round trip, and stop everywhere I can.

I drove to tampa in 12 hours, but took 4 days comming back on the coast to see everything

make sure you plan everything out before hand, and map out everything and anything that could go wrong.

you may spend more that you want as far as gas and whatnot goes, but I love beautiful scenery

just my .02 cents

HAHAHAHAHA

Make your employer buy you a light laptop.

Trust me you don’t want a heavy “desktop replacement” type unit.

Buy some good noise cancelling headphones to keep the screaming kids on the plane out of your head
