Truck, nothing special but a work in progress

Well I finished it today. This is the end of it, can’t see much of a difference in the pics but in person it looks so much cleaner and has a nice shine to it. Also it smells soooo good. The spots on the pics are on the camera not the interior. I will get better pics another day since it was dark out tonight. Honestly, I like it a lot, all I need to do is get the carpet a little cleaner and I am on to the engine bay/body

that stain on the seat pisses me off, I need to get some bucket seats soon

Well, I am done with that(till I put new speakers in, CD player and bucketseats with center concel(sp?) lol

X2, my brother had a old mid 80 pickup with a 22R and a celica head on it. He got rid of it at 255k and it was still running strong. Once due to a head gasket or something related going bad, the combustion cambers were taking on lots of coolant. To the best of our knowledge, the 22R was just pumping the coolant back out of the engine lol. I always wanted to get one of the turbo 22R motors out of the later trucks, build it up, toss it into a old celica. If you wanna go NA there is a old 22R header here at my house that you can have.

Dunno if you’ve seen this but more random info on the 22R motors.

No offence to any of you guys who owned it before but thats probly the most love that truck has ever seen lol. I was just going to beat it till it died but now I am really liking it now, lol.

Hmm, have been looking at swapping to a 5spd and turboing but I have no idea how the motor will handle it and how much boost it will take. I am kinda wondering what kinda #'s I can get out of t his motor.

haha, thanks Man. Honestly, that 6 was gutted besides the pain in the ass dash, lol. Headliner, carpet, back window peice, lol. Actully I drove it like that, wanted to meet a couple friends to go to a Demo durby and I bolted a seat down and left, lol. That car should be clean man, just sweep the carpet a little:D

lol, thanks, I was thinking about putting 4runner seats(93-97) becouse they bolt right up and are buckets but they look to much like a truck(want it to feel/ride like a car) So am thinking about some other seats. Anyone have any ideas for comfortable seats?
