Trying to figure out exhaust muffler options..

First pic is stock, Second and Third are just some ideas i have floating around.

#3 is my poor poor attempt at a lambo style muffler

I’ll be getting 2x Magnaflow 14158. I had one of them on my old 280z, here is a video with the L28 inline 6 with 2.5’’ exhaust and MSA thermal headers. camera was pretty bad at sound recording, its much throatier in person

Well, since you are asking for opinions.
I think all three look like dick.

Samezee!

Horrible.

This is a worse idea than the jump to conclusions mat in office space.

side exit in front of rear tire

Yes, but the least offensive for me is #2.

invisible turndowns FTW

I really need to know how your brain works. What a completely obscure, yet perfect reference.

Just route the exhaust normally…

This is what I was telling him yesterday. Do et

Routing it normally would be #2 with a second pipe however they would hang 3" lower.

Dumping them infront of the rear tire sounds fun but not sure if it’s possible… space concerns

Yeah, on second though side exit would be awesome. Make it happen!

Of those choices, it is like asking would you rather have your dick chopped off with a knife, scissors, or hedge trimmers

you can dooooooooooooooooooooooooo it

sorry i am not familiar with the undercarriage…but is there room for a single larger muffer with single inlet dual outlet then just 45 to the rear tire

Whats wrong with a single pipe to the left?

Invisible turn downs at the back two corners

This.

Here is a picture of how i had the pipe set up on my first Z, same muffler and everything.

I will probably do this again except with dual pipes because the gas tank and The spare tire thing has been cut out and welded with a flat piece of steel,

As for the single pipe that would require some custom fab’ collectors and probably a 4’’ pipe (i have to look into single pipe V8’s i don’t even know where to start here)

Keeping it dual 2.5’’ would work perfect because i only would have to replace the piping from the driveshaft area back… most of john’s stuff is bent / dinged from bottoming out on the road etc…

I have been putting some thought into it, i will most likely either get turn downs and put the pipe in the #2 pic area, i will not be cutting into the body OR i will just run it straight to the back of the car with 2 chrome tips sticking out. kinda like this,
