If you’re running lean, it shouldn’t be gas that your smelling. With that smell, you’re more likely running rich (unburnt fuel).

Ooops no idea where I got lean from…Maybe I was just thinking about the lean ground beef I just had…Oh well…I say we setup a dyno/tune day next season
