1LEs are a steal - basically how I would get a Camaro, except I’d quickly ditch the 20s for 18s and put some real tires on it.
Funny I now get GM, Chrysler/Fiat, Mitsu employee and Nissan supplier through my work. Granted unless I got an Evo or GTR I doubt I will use the last two.

I saw one of these at our Depew location the other day, dark blue. I don’t like Camaros, but the one I saw made me give a double-take. Super aggressive looking. Nice car!

That one is the new color called Blue Ray Metallic. It looks awesome in the sun. For me personally it’s too dark though. It looks black when it’s overcast out. Notice how the fenders look blue, but the entire side looks black. This car is CHEAP. It has 2 options, 1SS, 1LE and Boston Acoustic.
That’s why I bought new. It’s crazy how well they hold their value right now.
About what does this run price wise?
That blue one has an MSRP of $37945. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were to knock $1g-$1500 off.

You lost me on the option part. The 1LE “should” make a better drag car than a regular SS M6. It has the same overall initial gearing but the tranny ratios are tighter, so the rpms won’t drop as much on each shift. It’s not like i’m going to try to make a COPO out of it. I just want to see what it can do bone-stock. Most of the 5th gen guys that are local are more into the show/cruise scene which is fine here and there, but bores the shit out of me week after week.
I’m sure Dave would take it in on trade, lol!

There’s nothing wrong with taking it down the local 1/4 mile track, but the 1LE should have the local 3.4 mile track on it’s bucket list too.

I’d love to do a road course, autocross, but I’m not ready for that yet. I probably would have ordered the Recaro seats ($1995) if I was serious about that stuff. Maybe I’ll get a Z/28 in a few years, who knows.

I was looking at these when GM was offering 0% financing for 72 months last year but nobody at the dealership had any idea what this “1LE” package I was talking about consisted of.
Love these since the redesign, much sharper and more focused. Time for a signature update.
