is that for a cruise ship?
rofl
pfffft ive seen bigger…
oh man thats nothing… I have a Tri turbo setup thats bigger than that in my 1.5lsummit.
Just sayin
is that how katrina started?
Dude my BOV went woosh what can I say.
What is that though a water pump housing of some sort? Seem a bit too big for a turbo on anything afordable locally.
Who’s milling that anyway?
OMG thank you for correcting me. Where would I be without you.
Obviously I dont believe for a second that something like that would fit in a car. Specially not a summit of witch that assembly is pretty much the size of.
AlsoThink about your statement number 1. and rationalize your answer for the following question. How big do you think a motor would have to be to handle and provide power for a turbo of that size? Now think about what possible reason this part of NY would have for something of those gargantuan proportions. Power plant power source maybe? Sure but than what about the environment? dont he have windmills and a sweet waterfall for that?
Just saying bro. Dont bite on every bit of sarcasm and stupidity that people throw on here.
Chill. You made it sound like you thought it was going on a car. lol.
Nah. Im not that retarded:D. Would be pretty sweet to see that bolted up to something that goes vroom though. Though me thinks its probably a water pump in the making.
Than again this in something wheeled or tracked would also be pretty damn bad ass
Its Just one part to an incredibly large and complex industrial Centrifugal Compressor system.
Me, at Richards Machine Tool Co. in lancaster. I run their largest Vertical Boring Mill. You think thats big? My Machine has a 106" wide table
i was going to say, that looks very familiar, lol.
that is a decent size one…we have a lot bigger
I was gonna say; gotta be something for Cooper/Cameron Compressors; looks just like one of their scroll housings for their multistage compressors.
you work at CC, or subcontracted like us?
i work at CC
Where is the pop can next to it for a true intrawebz comparison?
Motors are electric, now an engine on the other hand would be sweet.
Turbo cruise ship? I don’t think the rpm’s would be high enough to reach the efficiency of a turbo would it? Would the pure volume of exhaust being pushed, with proper blade design allow a build up of pressure above ATM?
hummm
I think they could make it work, think about a semi truck…
