turbo'd LS 200whp

Ok. I FINALLY Made up my mind. Wife wont let me change it again.

I have a 94 ls. I want 200whp. Here’s what i have so far You can change whatever u want to help make this. And I got parts that were wrong Youll see.

I have

Intercooler
b18 manifold
downpipe
blow off valve (bov)
1 pipe with bov flange
some fittings and lines

Ok now the big mistake. Kid lied. Now i have a t25 with internal wastegate
Yes i know. Now it wont bolt upto the b18 stuff. cuz there t3 flange. I am either ( u can say ur imput) gonna get new flanges to make the t25 work. If it will gimme 200whp. Ill keep. But if its less of a hassle ill buy a used t3 and just have it bolt up. Seems like its less of a hassle. Just gotta find one CHEAP. Dont got alot of cash to blow. I have 600 left to support the project.

I know i need gauges ect. If u can make a list of what i need and what else i should do

Oh i have a 255 fuel pump, And i have a 8:1 fmu

http://www.spooledmotorsports.com/index.html

without a stand alone you are goin to have a tough time gettin that tiny turbo to 200whp

yea thats why i am thinkin t3. I need help . I dont know what other parts i do need

DO NOT RUN A 8:1 FMU … Atleast get the 12:1 disk… that will get your air fuels to proper levels. Also dont run over 8-9 psi max on a 12:1 fmu.

U can get 450cc injectors for like $40-$50 in any dsm website.

Copplers & clamps-u can go to napa and get radiator hoses. They have all kind of sizes.Thats like $40

SAFC-Dont waste ur time with the fmu. They are not reliable.I know u cant afford another engine so go for the safe side first.U can get that for like $100-$140

Turbo- I dont know if the t25 would do the job but if u change ur mind u can get a 16G for like $350 to $400 or even a 14b and u can get one for like $150 and port the shit out of it.I think u are gona have to get a resistor box for the injectors.

Wastegate- I dont know if u wanted go with a internal or external wastegate but u can get one for like $80-$100.

I think thats all.

I agree 100% but I would say FMU over SAFC … You add boost and the fmu does the work as long as you dont turn the boost too high and lean out like I said its dummy proof. And with a 12:1 disk at 8-9 psi it will be a good 11.8:1 or so air fuel very safe and reliable. Safc and honda’s dont work too well and timing keeps being added which is very very bad on a turbo car with cast internals.

Yea i need some serious help building this. I dont wanna spend over 600 more on parts

If the fmu would hold 8-9 psi out of a T3 go for it.U can always get the car tuned and get ur ecu chipped. And trust me boost is addicting. The soon u start getting boost u r gona want more so becareful!!!

14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b 14b

He has a T3 manifold.

Nothing is impossible.I had a hf manifold witha T3 turbo and i made the flange on cnc at the machine shop i work at.

stay with the fmu. the safcwill never be able to see boost and wont be able to throw in the right fuel where the fmu will

drop the fmu and the safc, and i will give u a chipped ls computer for $70 and an exchange your for ls ecu
as for a turbo, i have a t3 sabb turbo that needs rebult make an offer on that and the integra hood,
ill give u a package deal on everything!@

Actually an SAFC could be used just fine to tune in a mild boost set-up (<9 psi) with 450 cc (or similar sized) injectors. It is commonly known as the V/S - AFC Hack. NO check valves are needed and the ecu actually can read and adjust for boost up to around 10 psi depending on the injector size used. If you know what you are doing the hack can work quite well, if you are in the other 99% you should stay away from it.

Cheapest, most reliable way is to go with a chipped ecu set-up as FMF offered.

i got a garret t3/to4b i would sell you cause i wanna go bigger. 250 bucks with a fresh rebuild

i can vouch for franks turbo, it put out some decent power, i couldent get traction till like 4th gear

Frank, are you friends with Dean? He was talking about a Frank last night and it sounds like it might be you, haha

thanks joe. yea its puts down the power your looking for. the thing is i dont know what wheel is in there (there are a few diffrent ones) and i dont wanna run 17lbs on it and have it poop out on me and not make enough. im looking into a 60-1 or something of the sort so i wanna sell this if i can. if not i will just switch out the wheel most likley.

and i dont think i know a dean but its a possibilty i know alot of people and im just real bad with names
