Twin Turbo BMW 1 Series CONFIRMED for US market

Cool, I love snatches.

i would rock that coupe, little small but that diesel engine sounds sick with 58 mpg and 306 hp. Too bad we probably will not see it.

^ the 306 hp on is the gasser. the diesel is 204hp.

"the flagship of the range is the BMW 135i with its 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged petrol powerplant. Offering 306hp "

That diesel sounds awesome

“Until that time, we’re likely to see 1-series models in our market with sixes only”

:frowning:

OMG HI 2 U

I will buy one as soon as I can.

The diesel one sounds like awesome described.

400Nm converts to rough 295 ft/lbs torque.

0-60 in 7 seconds isn’t shabby for a diesel.

i’d take the diesel

FuckinA-Right!

The diesel sounds great. Twin turbo-charged making 204whp stock. Plus, 58 mpg. I’m sure with a couple mods it could be even quicker which would make for one amazing little driver.

We will not get the diesel in the US

Unfortunately, you’re most likely right.:banghead:

hey you don’t want bmw paying out the ass when they have to replace engines because stupid americans use premium instead of diesel do you? :ham:

Actually, I’d be inclined to think they will bring the diesel here.

Diesels are starting to catch on here, bigtime.

Just so long as the new BMW diesels conform the the clean diesel standards, which I believe they do.
