Twin turbo trans am hits dyno

Domination chassis built twin turbo ls1. First dyno runs. Boost was set in the 10-12psi range. It grazed the 600 ft. lbs. mark, and came to about 580 whp. Today we’re going back to give it some more boost.

More dyno and street videos to come.

Props to Bish, Jay and the guys at Domination for a solid car. Great power for a very conservative tune on pump at that boost. I’m on my way to grab some line for the boost controller so we can wix it up a bit tonight.

I stand by my name, Team Pump Gas :-).

it will be a street terror for sure

Pre tune, on the way to the dyno. This is down about 150hp from the end dyno run.

nice! 580whp on that boost aint bad at all.

I was actually going to look into doing exactly what you just did, but single turbo, what swayed you to go twin. I know on the tt supra set ups most people go back to single to make good power. Is it different in this case?? How would a single turbo fair on this car?

Who’s car is that?

SonOfABish’s car

i think twins are better for quicker spools on the street while a big single will blow more air i suppose, but there are guys doing well over 1000whp with twins so i dont think its an advantage going to a single. i think they have a 1700whp twin turbo viper v10 as well. Most of those big number vipers are twins if i recall right.

We ran out of fuel at 605whp. torque was like 658

Very nice… what are the longblock specs?
