I would normally post this stuff in “off-topic” but since these job openings actually requires you to be enthusiastic about riding and requires you to have a motorcycle license, I thought I’d post it here. They are based in Exeter, RI.

Enjoy!

Jobs

We want you for the Twisted Throttle crew!
We are a young, fast-growing company located in Exeter, Rhode Island. We specialize in prototyping, product development, wholesale distribution, and Internet retail of bolt-on motorcycle accessories for the sport-touring, adventure-touring, and sport-bike market. Our target customers are primarily riders of European and Japanese motorcycles that are long-distance touring & sportbike enthusiasts. In addition to selling via our website and mail order catalog, we also travel throughout the country exhibiting our products at major motorcycle rallies such as Daytona Bike Week, the BMW MOA national rally, and the Americade TourExpo.

Enthusiasm for motorcycles is required for all positions at Twisted Throttle. To ensure that our staff knows the products they sell, we require that ALL employees obtain their motorcycle driver’s license within 9 months of beginning to work with us. Those that do not already have a motorcycle license can attend the motorcycle safety course. We strongly prefer candidates that have previous experience riding and wrenching on motorcycles.

Fluency in German, French, Spanish, and/or Chinese is a plus, but not required. You’ve also gotta speak English. It’s just the way it is.

We work hard, have fun, ride motorcycles, have awesome office coffee, and do daily battle using the nerf dart guns behind our desks. There’s a disco ball in our conference room and we know how to get down, but we can’t stand slacking during work hours.

How to apply:
Email resumes to jobs@twistedthrottle.com along with a cover letter answering the following:

  • Which job are you applying for?
  • Why do you think you’ll be a good fit at our company?
  • What experience do you have riding or wrenching on motorcycles and scooters?
Resumes without cover letters will be deleted, as we only hire folks that read the instructions before applying for a job. It’s a good idea to run spell-check too.
