it will do nothing, every time you get pulled over just say it was your spouse on the other line.

and ny has banned texting and non-hands-free calling for a long time, and it hasn’t made a change. everyone still does it, including me.

Using a cellphone in a car is now a 3 point moving violation in NY.

Same as leaving a scene of property damage, minimal points for speeding, speeding in a workzone, failure to obey a traffic control device etc…

Pretty damn hefty.
