I still love how people are happier about a 340 yard drive, than hitting all fairways in a round, or 12 of 18 greens in regâŚ

If youâre just out for a friendly round, ripping a big drive in the fairway feels a lot better than hitting greens with your 5 and 7 iron. Drive for show and putt for dough, but if thereâs no dough involved you might as well enjoy the show.

I donât know, Iâm happier when I can stick a 4 iron on the green from 200 yards because I sliced my drive into the first cut of rough. Or not 3 putt a single green.
