Global oil prices zoomed up to $135 a barrel this past week. But that doesn’t worry Roberto Morales, a 33-year-old Venezuelan businessman. Morales, who drives a compact Volkswagen Gol, still pays only $1.32 to fill up his car with 11 gallons of high-octane gasoline, thanks to Venezuela’s subsidized fuel price.
That means that consumers pay about 12¢ a gallon, or 1/33 of what their U.S. counterparts pay.
…
Iran and Saudi Arabia rank as the second- and third-cheapest places to buy gas, at the equivalent of 40¢ and 44¢ a gallon, according to a survey by Associates for International Research.
A majority of that area of the world is self sustained on their own Ethenol production too.
Too bad the US isnt and probably wont be.
There’s some garbage. I wish it was that cheap here.
looks like i might have to move lol
see ya
gas is 10 dollars a gallon in europe so whats the deal there
russia supplies them with their expensive fuel…in russia it costs about the same as here…
wow…I’d love 12¢ a gallon gas.
My biggest question in this whole thread is where the ¢ is on my keyboard
I couldn’t find it, so I copied it from the first post
copy pasted from another car forum
Gaz prices in norway
Hello!
Just to let the american people know something about norway too
nkr = norwegian kroner - the currency used here
Today, gasprices soared by 13,50nkr pr liter for 95 octane gasoline.
This equals 51,165nkr pr gallon which then kan be calculated to be 9,82$
1 gallon petrol in norway costs 9,82$
But we dont have dinosaur-like engine’s and think that american cars does not fit inn her. We use cars like VW Passat and that is considered a large car here. A suburban or your pick-ups is something you would be seen as a freek driving cause their oversize (supersize)
