I need to buy a valve spring compressor that looks like this:
I can buy it on ebay but then its going to take weeks to get here. Has anyone seen this locally somewhere?
Can’t you rent those at crappy tire for free? I seem to recall them having valve spring compressors, but I’ve never needed one.
there is a place called kbc tool and machine in mississuga on kennedy road just north of the 401. i don’t know if the sell that peticular one but they sell just about every machine tool out there. they have a pretty good showroom and a very extensive cataloge. you sould try there.

they are too big and cant be be placed in the head on the springs/retainers properly

Aaah, that sucks. Now that I think about it, Cisco industrial supplies might have something like that. There’s one on Dixie north of the 401.
or a company called kent-moore makes a big c-clamp type looking one which i
have at my work but it costs like 300 bucks.
