Vander3 callout

Lz, you need to stop talking drag racing. There’s no justification for sleeping on the tree even if you have a faster car. I imagine your time at a track is pretty limited.

I have won bracket racing at Lancaster multiple times I have been dragging racing since I was 16…I have also beat faster and slower cars at bracket racing based on my reaction time and ability to be consistent and not break out but none if this is relevant to the conversation.

I’m not really sure how you don’t grasp what im explaining? Let me explain the entire situation and you can read it a couple times.

The z06 should be in the low 8s to high 7s easily if not quicker.

All most posts have been related to trying to help him get his ET out of the 9s and into where it should be.

My point was LEARN how to drive the car to its full potential safely THEN work on reaction time and other aspects of actual drag racing…

Vander has VERY little seat time at the track and learning how to launch 6spd has a pretty big learning curve in a high hp/tq car this is indicated by the 2.4 60’ which can easily be in the 1.8-1.9 on street tires.

We all understand reaction time is very important in drag racing and people win/lose races at the tree.

Most FAQs/Howtos online suggest ignoring reaction time when you first start drag racing to understand how to properly launch your car and drive it down the track…After you have mastered this stuff then start working on nailing your reaction time.

Do you understand any of this? Are you really that fucking stupid to not grasp this?

If you look at the time slip from the previous posts he already got better with more seat time and ended up beating the S2000 the second time around.

Um I’m not stock btw

But yea I only won the first week due to vanders time on the track. It was his first race ever. The next week, last Wednesday he beat me two times. As he should.

This threa was started not cuz of My s2k, but because someone called him out.
I still wanna see this car at its full capability. Practice vander practice.

We going again Wednesday night?
Who will be there

Spray?
Forced induction?

Hell when I was trying to get 10s cam-only I used to let the lights drop before went to launch to just not have the distraction. But I specifically only race at Test and Tune nights.

This car wont run better than a 8.5 at lancaster especially on street tires. They wont let us line up in the grooves on street night so its almost impossible to hook there. Mid to high 8s at lancaster should be the goal not 7s. At NYI this car might be able to pull off some 7s in the 1/8th but still need to be able to launch it.
Ive been there every week call me out, keep your eyes peeled for a slow blue suv Im usually parked near the staging lanes.

are you really that fucking stupid that you dont realize you keep going back and forth on what your saying? this doesnt matter, oh of course this matters.

oh, and i like how you go online to learn how to drag race. sweet dude.

What’s the slow blue suv running?

Want to run a boosted hatch?

Thanks Dime95, thought I saw a tubbed s10 there… was that you?

Not sure might just have to line them up :snky:

If it was the same color it could have been choko

Looked pretty sweet, saw him pull in behind Choda that night but never saw it make a pass.

no mine isnt finished yet, ill have it out next year gotta build the motor over winter. i wont be tubbed anyways though, gonna make it work on “stock” style suspension.
