Just a note, if you are gonna sign up for FIOS or DSL, do it through my store (Tops plaza in East Aurora) or the Lockport store (Kitchen World plaza on south transit) because you will recieve a $100 MIR with activation of new service
this doesnt involve cell phones & service at all, so you dont have to buy anything. I can even do it over the phone, so you dont need to come out to the store.
Wait - can I sign up through you, and get my service installed in NYC?

i dont see why not
basically, we are just a referal route. we punch some stuff into an online system, and it acts as a direct “referral”. someone from DSL/FIOS calls to set up the instal and to verify account info. when we are the rerferring point of activation" the customer is eligable for a $100 MIR that they normally would not be.
is there any way you can check to see if there is direct tv in my area yet?
[/quote]
i dont have access to anything with that, but direct tv is sat. based…it’s really in all areas. you might have something blocking the signal (line of sight wise) at your place
that contract pricing is weird. seems like you would have no incentive not to sign a contract, since you actually pay less for the ETF down the road than for the install.
unless you want that 4 cent a month discount

i found that a bit surprising too. but then again, once u have fios, could you really go back to anything else [time warner]?
DSL pricing
768k : 19.99 w/ contract
3M: 29.99 w/contract
(3M without contract is 31.99)
DRY LOOP: add $5/month
i dont think there is a act fee or install fee for DSL w/contract, i dont see any info on it (but that could change at any time, just like anything else)
