What is a good site to order parts for the VG30ET motor? How strong are these motors? Anyone have any valuleable information on them?

i think this is the worst website to be on asking about the z31, you should be over at z31performance.com or z31.com. the guys around there are very knowledgeable.

we have many people making custom parts for the z31 since they are so hard to find.

The thing is this motor already has 240xxx on it. What would I be looking at to get it reliable to be making bigger numbers.
Forged Pistons of some kind 700$ to 1400$
Forged Rods 400$ to 800$
CamShafts 500$
Complete gasket kit 300$
Big Turbo, some kind of engine management, fuel injectors, fuel pump …$$$
another route that is a little cheaper is to use z32 rods and pistons in an engine rebuild. they are good for 500hp.
my engine has over 200000km and it runs strong. it all depends on what you are after and your budget of coarse.
