Vibration

stfu no0b,learn ur roll, than u can make ost like that!!! :booty:

yes they can

What does that mean? I can barely even classify that as English. Your not getting mad at me are you?? How could a vibration happen at 15mph if a wheel weight fell off? Come on now; get your head out of your ass. That would have to be one extremely fucked up tire. Your problem lays somewhere else id say. Start trouble shooting, put the stock wheels and tires back on, Does it go away?

If it’s the wheel or tire wouldn’t the problem get worse at higher speeds?

Does this vibration happen just under load, or while decelerating, too?

Yes, Most balance problems occur at speed of 35mph+

negitave ghost rider…

if its a broken band inside the tire it will be more noticed at a slower speed.because the band inside has more time to flex and compress…at higher speeds everything is compressed the force apon the tire will not allow the band to seperate from the broken area…and causeing no issue at higher speeds…

somthing along the lines of a huge 6 bay building with a big sign on the top that says

KING TIRE CENTER might give brian a lil bet of credit…nahhh

 i been dealing with tires befor u were sperm!so go back to ur corner!thank u!:tool: :blah:   i dont get made i get even! :mrT:

I feel bad for you if you bought that line. A vibration at speeds of 15MPH would have to be a rare major defect in the tire. An almost rare defect thats never seen. Small speed vibrations are caused by other things. I doubt that info

" An out-of-balance tire and wheel will typically create a vibration or shake that becomes progressively worse as the vehicle’s speed increases. The speed at which the vibration first becomes apparent will vary depending on the size and weight of the tires and wheels, the size and weight of the vehicle, the sensitivity of the steering and suspension and the amount of imbalance, but usually starts at 40 to 50 mph and increases in intensity as the speed goes up."

out of ur link :tool:

Most balancers today operate at lower speeds. This helps extend motor life and reduces cycle times as well as risk to the operator. Older balancers typically had to spin a wheel fairly fast (about 500 rpm, or the equivalent of 55 to 60 mph) to generate a usable signal. But the more sensitive electronics in today’s balancers are able to pick up vibrations at much lower speeds (only 100 rpm, or 10 to 15 mph).

Are you kidding me? Learn to understand what your read old man. Thats talking about the speed the balancer spins at not the tire. Wow you are the dumbest person EVER!!! How could you not understand that? I dont think you should be allowed to post on here anymore. I thought you knew alot about tires?? guess not…

ok how can a tire no where it needs balance at 15mph if there no vibration?

so how are they balancing tires at that speed then? go back to school & teach since u know it all!

Ok well I thought you knew everything about tires? You should know this basic info. A tire balancer only has to spin at a slow speed because its has the tire mounted to an axle that connects to a drum that rotates against the tire to measure wheel force variations. It does this useing very sensitive sensors and on more basic balancers bubble levels. It then measures the ammount of weight that it needs to add to parts of the rim to offset this. The reason you wouldn’t feel this at 15mph is due to a few reasons. Mostly because of the tires not spinning fast enough to start the wobble that causes vibrations. Also the vechicals suspension componets help to damper travel vibrations. Do I need to explane how a Vechiacl suspension system works as well? But pussySS, Im sure that you know all of this because your a tire specialist right? Stop trying to spread misinformation when your the one who is ignorant of the subject. Why don’t you simply accept defeat and admit being wrong. 5$ says you will delete my post…

Since it appears that you want to try to diagnose this yourself before taking it to the dealer, I’d recommend that you get the front end up on jack stands, start the car and run it at about the speed where you are seeing the vibration when driving.

Then have a (safe) look and check the bushings, bearings, tie rods, CV joints (these cars have 'em, right) and just see if anything jumps out at you when the wheels are moving. …obviously, you have to check the bearing without the wheel turning…

Caution - I don’t know squat about fwd cars.

pay me!!!call pussy to my face big boy! carry on u know it all!!

learn something instead of googling to get ur info! :moon:
