I managed to take a picture rather than a video with my GoPro when I ran the 1:58, but here’s video with data on a 2:00.0 lap followed by some trackside shots.

Nice. What group was this with?
Hooked On Driving
My neck hurts watching your head bobble around, but I have to wonder what my neck looks like on the wheeler. LOL
Looks fun!!!
:stupid:
Under 2 minutes is so fast there. Jealous, congrats again!
yeah, very nice. and it looks like there is even some more time you can squeeze out of the car.
Nice run man
Thanks all!
LOL probably similar. My neck and back can only take so much of driving the car at this point. I generally do 3 sessions of 2-3 hot laps a day. My back actually gets more sore than my neck. I need to get in better shape to drive the car properly. I had my STI out at TMP one day this year and I felt like I could have lapped it forever compared to this car.
This is going to sound funny, but it’s the truth. I’m not strong enough to strap my safety 6 point harness tight enough to keep me locked in place with the loads this car generates. I end up using my core and back to try and keep me in place so I can control the car. Some sessions if I’m not rushing and I have more time to get them as tight as possible I can drive the car without having to fight to stay in place and it’s awesome, but that’s rare. I’m hoping to find time to get in better shape before next season.
Try a different seat in the meantime? There are thousands of seats to choose from that fit all sorts of different ways, might be the perfect one out there for you!
The way I’m explaining I know it sounds like I’m sloshing around but I’m not. The seat fits me well. The movement in the seat is just enough that i need to strain my core to keep from shifting so I can be precise on the wheel. I never noticed the issue until I was pulling more than 1.4 G lateral and using OMP belts. The OMP belts are very hard for me to tighten because of their new buckle design which is less likely to shift, but definitely more difficult to adjust. I used to have a G Force cam lock harness which was really easy to get tight, but it was out of date and I had to replace it.
