Well… there are still unknowns. The Horsepower is NOT concrete at 600, but will be AT LEAST 600. The car has also gone on a diet, so the weight should be down as well. Speculation is at least 100 pounds less, due to new wheels, no runflats, and ditched crossover.
It remains to be seen what kind of a platform it will be though. The car itself is proven and unchanged from the current gen-3, but the engine very well may be a weaker platform for modification. Should be an N/A monster, but hopefully the weight reduction program and Dodge’s penny-pinchers didnt get the best of that beefy block… or it will spell disaster for the Forced Induction aftermarket following.
The other driveline changes are already available in the aftermarket…and then some. good increases for a stock car, but G-Force, Quaife, and Tilton/Mcleod already have the driveline bases covered for the Horsepower Junkies.
And if you think Dodge doent have a Blue Devil answer already in the works…think again. Hmm… Remember that ACR? Do you see mention of one yet? Dodge is likely waiting for chevy to show their hand, so they can one-up them again.
