i got this vista skin for xp, which basically makes all of xp look and act like vista, without all the bugs.

What exactly is aero supposed to do?

does it actually make the top of the windows transparent though?

also I am running two vista system’s neither have bugs with aero from what i’ve seen ?

Aero is directx on the desktop. It uses your graphics card for 3d effects and transparency.

Aero is like Compiz on linux. Its sooo sexy at first then just gets fucking annoying

lol i dunno i am a gui whore… so i like it, i hate bland looking desktops. it makes the work day more interesting i guess? :gotme:

if your computer sucks it probably is annoying though.

i got it working, its ok i guess, nothing too special.

that would be with actual vista though, he just has a skin/theme for xp
