That was my thinking as well - but the folks are not tech people at all. They prolly didn’t need a 1080 set at all, let alone be able to notice the minute differences. Hell, they prolly wouldn’t have noticed blurring :lol:
This is an upgrade from a 14 yr old Toshiba 27" set. :mamoru:
But yea, for the price, this would make a deent living room set if you flat out could not afford better.
