VW Karmann Ghia Project Car

Looking for any year Ghia preferably coupe but I wouldnt be against convertible.
I am only looking for a restoration project. I am trying to find a complete car doesnt have to be driving but I would like it to have complete. Budget is depends on condition and completeness.

You willing to travel? There are A LOT around here

Ill be traveling threw TX on my way back up to buffalo Next month with my diesel, if you find somthing down there I could bring it back for you. Air-cooleds are a dime a dozen down here I keep tossing around bringing back a Type 181 (aka Thing)

i want a notchback so bad.

How much you charging?

Depends on rolling chassie-if it can be flat towed, if it has a drivetrain… take a look on
Searchtempest.com around the Houston area. and we can talk if you find something more serious.

probably just figure out what it does to my MPG and figure out a price…

i am all about this, love those cars

If you’re serious about a Ghia and you plan on putting a lot of work into it, it’s definitely worth starting off with a clean solid car, even if you have to ship it from out west. Soooo many bondo pits out there, since they are so prone to rust and body damage that is rarely fixed correctly.

That second ad looks like a clean car.

Something a little closer: http://binghamton.craigslist.org/cto/2239309547.html

it’s about 45 minutes from me, but in the closer direction to Buffalo. And if you did come and get it, maybe I could get ieatpaint to work something out with you to get his SVX doors…
