VW Tiguan : How to play video while driving?

Freakin’ thing blacks out higher than 7MPH.

Does anyone know how to bypass?

ill find out

Nav-TV might make a bypass mod for it.

they dont have anything listed, I would call

http://www.navtv.com

if it has GPS, it can usually be a bit tougher

These work of off vehicle speed sense. and they are a can-bus system.
There will not be any sort of wiring hack for it.

an aftermarket module is required like i posted above

even worse, if it’s full MMI, the optic network might have trickled down from Audi… not positive, i didn’t stick around the dealer long enough to go to Q5 or Tiguan school.

why would you want to watch porn while driving?.. what about clicking the ebrake up till the light comes on kinda the same way to turn off the DTRL

waiting for thread where howie thoguht this was a good idea so his passanger can watch but he got into the scene and crashed

I watched dirtywork on my way to carlisle.

So good.

like i said.
it works from vehicle speed sense.

you could pull the ebrake until it wont go anymore, and it wouldnt make a difference

that movie still remains in my top 5 all timers

dirty work the norm macdonald flick? if so, that movie is awesome lol.

i watched a few episodes of top gear coming back from Amsterdam ny the other weekend lol.

Bump - nothing on the NAV TV site for a tiguan

I’m sure it is the same as all other VW/Audi/Lambo Navs. There is a website / forum, like navplus.com or something. It will tell you.

From my limited experience, it is firmware dependant, and different cars and firmware versions have different abilities in relation to video in motion.

probably going to have to wait it out

maybe change the coding to think it’s in europe, which might open pandora’s box into communication errors on the entire network… it’s something simple, and will require no hardware, just Vag-com, once someone cracks it.
