Josh who has seen 225s put on a 6 wide wheels before, and is alot more worried about how the car handles, stops ,and goes than getting his rims trashed by a curb.

the tires look too small for those 9inch wide stock widened steelies. i think he’s going for that euro stretched look. it looks good but personally i like meaty tires.

I actually really like the wheels(15x9 i take it), in fact, is that car local i want to see how they fit on my civic. Next year i am going to be in the market for 15x8 or 15x9, so i can contain the power of a R motor.
Except i would be putting 245/45R15 tires on the wheels.
you might need to downsize a tire size or 2, they look a bit big.

thats one thing i was wondering. starting out in a garage ive mounted more than my share of tires. on the performance note. i would think that on a rim such as those there isnt much contact between the bead and the rim. wouldnt a hard corner pop a tire off with the rim being that much wider than the tire?
