well since you are a Mk4 VW driver, and never a mk1/mk2/mk3
you wouldnt realize that when they only had the golf/jetta and the corrado/scirocco cars as the main choices, they looke the same, no?
even the quantum/dasher which came before the Passat had a similar look to a jetta and a rabbit as far as shape, lighting etc.
the Mk6 is a classy car, a bit too classy for the class its in. that interior is butter, VW really stepped up its game since the cars i started out in. though the Mk1 was a bit better than everything else available in its class when it was made.
