I coulda swore when I went to the dealer the previous model GTI i wanted was like 33K with all the options I wanted. Promptly said fuuuuck that
possibly coulda been an R32. but 33k grand is assinine for a 200hp hatchback lol.

US market didnt receive the GTi until 1983.
