Want to find: My Old Foxbody Mustang

Some friends and I were recalling old times from High School and it got me thinking about how cool it may be to find a car I sold years and years ago and see if the current owner may part with it.

Details…Sold to a kid in Colden NY in 2001.

Last I heard it was still in a barn down there

1988 Mustang GT
Midnight Blue
Hard Top
Chrome Pony Wheels
Mint Grey interior
Had every bolt on mod you could imagine.
Limo tinted.
Would have had a Kenwood Head unit
Ram air snorkel mounted to the underside of the front bumper.

The identifying mark would be a jagged dent on top of the driver side fender from where my cousin drove into it with his quad and the handlebar damaged the fender. Otherwise the car was in very good condition.

I am going to dig up some pics now.

I dont unfortunately…I thought I may have had an old registration but I only have the one from my LX that was stolen

Looks black but is actually dark dark blue

Pretty sure I sold it with orange corners and stock GT taillights

The chrome ponies were on it when I sold it. Does it have the dent in the fender?

Whats wrong with the wheels? They were killer in the late 90s! If I recall…it was a choice of those, 4 lug Cobras, American racing garbage or ROH 5 spokes.

It was fast for the time…ran high 13s at NYI

you might be able to get the VIN from the DMV or your insurance company

Pony wheels were the shit! Chromed out…not so much.

Good luck finding your Fox, they’re shitty cars but something about them makes them still desirable. I can’t seem to part with mine for this very reason.

Yes…the are god awful glorifed escorts but this particular one holds a very special place in my memory and if it was still local and available, I would get it and tinker with it just to have around.

I still don’t remember your car. I was running 7.4’s at Lancaster in my mustang…I’m surprised I didn’t run into you on the streets or at the track. G/L in finding it.

I ran at lancaster once and blew the transmission out if it.

I used to roll through como park all the time haha
