FS: 1988 Ford Mustang Low Miles

Well my dad wants to get rid of his 1988 Ford Mustang hatchback. Its an LX body with a 302 v8 5.0l automatic. This car was special order from factory with GT taillights and other GT parts but no the GT ground effects. The car only has around 80,000 miles and has a great undercarriage which is rare to find on a fox body. My dad bought this as a project but does not want it anymore because not enought time to finish he has a lot of parts for the car.He has both rear quaters both doors some interior and exterior pieces exhaust tires and a extra set of GT rims. The car is in good condition but does need some work My dad is looking to get 2500 obo.

I will start the lowballin at $200 … cause the front framerails are gone and you cant fix them …

your dad is out of his fucking mind … there are NO other GT options … only taillights,ground effects,wing and seats for 87 And 88 … and it looks like somebody just swapped the lights …

and it doesnt even have the factory AC in the car … thats an aftermarket setup …thats where my $200 lowball came into play … untill i looked a little closer …

tell you dad to post it on Egay … or part it out … cause that thing wont even pass a legit NYSI …

2500 is too much and 200 is too little

Did he drive that in winter? That is one of the worst engine bays I’ve seen in one of them excluding four bangers driven all winter.

if you part it out, id be interested in the bumpers, bodyside moldings and the spoiler. let me know asap.

Rocker panels are rusted, quarter panel and door is pinched. Going to need some body work. $2500 honestly seems too high of a price.

You could get a lot of decent projects for $2500 that are in better starting shape than the stang. My .02

This has all the parts though and the enigine bay looks rusted from pics but if you were to see the car in person it looks a lot better. So its deff worth 2500 obo and yes this car was special ordered with gt taillight because the orignal owner did not like the gt ground effects so he ordered a lx with gt taillights and the 5.0 motor. i believe 2500 obo is reasonable because it does say obo. But $200 is way too low. All this car needs is all the new parts put back on.
