Hey, This is my first time changing my suspension in any car i have i’ve owned. So I have really no idea where i can take my car to get this done.
I would go to my usual mechanic but i’m lowering the car and i want it done right. So if anyone can give me the name of a good shop thats reasonably priced around the GTA that would be great. Thanks
Any mechanic can do it. Go to your regular mechanic. or pay more for a “suspension specialist”, to do the same work.
If you want to be anal, do it yourself.
Swapping out shocks and struts is one of the easier jobs. Any “regular” mechanic can do this for you. Or like Nutter said do it yourself. You can find all kids of How-to’s online.
Just go somewhere decent to get it aligned once yer done.
Easy Way
1.) Change springs/shocks yourself, 2hrs with OK hand tools or 45mins with air.
2.) Get alignment
Done.
MSSC would be glad to do your suspension mods, just PM me and we can arrange a time

sorry to thread jack buuut. anyone know someone who is good with corner weights?
and to the mssc boys… how much for an alignment?
Corner weighing a street car? Corner weighting is only a slight advantage on race prepared cars IMO. Otherwise, you can do this yourself with some rented scales, and a lot of time adjusting stuff in your car like coilovers.
We don’t do computer alignment at the shop, but recommend a few shops after installation.
