Internals from the KA starter are the same. Go to the Part Source and buy one, swap the internals into the SR casing (clean up the SR internals so their kinda clean) put them into the KA starter casing and then return it a few days later

Ive never heard that one before, very interesting, where’d you get that info?
I know you can get any starter rebuilt might just be a good idea to do that.
Because there is a “How To” on 240sxforums.com that shows you how to take the starter apart and swap over the internals… their are quite a few guys on their who have done it as well.
Difference in the casting is the difference between the 2 bell housings… other then that its the same (which is why you just swap out the internals) in the end it cost you $0.00 vs paying to have it rebuilt “thou it is a scam I suppose and wrong to do” :lol:
