use the conventional 3 jaw pulley puller from auto zone. Put little metal plates behind where each jaw pulls the pulley. No problems… Just did my M90 a couple weeks ago.
autozone one worked… 
well i at least saw them using it while i was toying with my ride…

The pulley didn’t take much time to get off but It took over an hour to get the stupid Hub on. Atleast now I can swap pulley sizes in about 5 minutes with an allen key.
