okay, so one day i went and turned on my xbox360, and my controllers will not connect to the system, if i use my playncharge kit, the console will turn via the button on the controller, but it still wont connect, anybody have any possible solutions??
stupid question but have u tryed to resync the controlers with the xbox?

No… not even close, your buddies was probably a coincidence.
Play with it wired for like a week, should work, but you also will need new batteries soon for your controllers.
