The Horizon was the third of 4 bodies in white Chrysler sent to Herb McCandless. The other three were built into Omni’s. It is the very last factory Plymouth race car. (Chrysler race cars were always finished by outside contractors after the 1967 W0/R0 cars.) This one was built for Max Naylor, who ran Pro Stock a few years ago. I bought it off of the second owner two years ago. I was running a mostly stock 440 with a Powerglide and 4.10’s that was good for a 9.73 @ 138. I’m hoping to finish an Indy headed 440 for next year that should put it in the mid 8’s.
Any pics of the Shelby? If it’s clean, I am interested.
