Weird email

I received a strange email to my .edu address today. There is a bit of activity on the web with people trying to figure it out. Has anyone else had this delivered to them or have any info on it?

It was also sent to a number of other .edu addresses. This seems to be the MO.

Did you guys get this email??? What does this mean?!?! All I can grasp is that he was upset about his attempt at a
maritial union?

Or do you prefer to promote idiocy?

I was attempting to get married this year because it would have increased the tax refund.
They told me a marital union should be about love.
They had no excitement for working together.

They applaud the idea of finding what you enjoy doing. They’re deceiving themselves.
Maybe five per cent of today’s GDP would suffice to live comfortably.

People ask how I survive because I’m often unemployed.
I ask them why they reward skillful beguilers by spending money on Hollywood.
Why do they aspire after big vehicles and private property?
Aren’t they aware that they’re crazy about traveling only as long as
it’s highly regarded by the mainstream?

They’re positive that people can’t change. Yet when young, they dreamt about
omniscience, perfect relationships, and perfect worlds. We are still that naive.
We’ll build a world based on logical reasoning.

Don’t reply to this letter because we will not read it. Try a google search on the
following words.

arrogant teenage intelligence students immature
philosophy strategy ideology logic holistic
pure general design order insecure
terrestrial personality intolerant defiance distrust
social felicitation spiritual art traits
indoctrination Borg monomania concrete clandestine

I advise choosing three words for each search request. That makes for
an intimidating number of different searches, so only the brave will learn the truth.

They are probably spammers scrubbing the net for .edu email addresses, then sending you a crap email to verify that it is a legit email, then selling the legit email list to their client, who in turn will send you more spam.

If your email would have bounced they would have taken you off the list.

I’ve seen spam emails before that just send out random words or a passage from a book, but I just felt this is different due to its call to action.

Why are you worried about it? If you don’t recognize the email address don’t open it. That’s my policy. If it’s that urgent they will email again or call you.

i recieved a similar message in my ub account that was addressed to completely random e-mail addresses both *.edu and others. the message itself didnt make much sense and i was mad at myself for even reading it.

the sender had an e-mail address that looked harmless and i think was an .edu so i didnt think anything of it.

that was about a week ago and i haven’t gotten any spam since.

I’m guessing his email got hacked…

Ya most schools put their students emails online. Pretty easy to get a list of students since that would be the target group for this.
