Speaking of…there’s probably going to be a few of those around on Friday night (the real ones.) There’s always some moron who thinks that they are invincible to alcohol and decide to down liters upon liters of liquor. Then they get alcohol poisoning and wonder why… Almost every weekend I am there I see someone get hauled away in an ambulance.

dude if the cylinder walls are good and the valves are good put standard bore itr pistons in it. and get some cams. thats all less than 1 grand including machine work. you and your pops could totally do it.

wit a 80 i would hope it didnt blow its not that much but i wonder why your meltin plugs the way u are thats redicules id call synapse and get a retune or suttin they fucked up somewhere i was only runnin 2 steps cooler on my 93 wit a 250 shot never killed a plug

if ya didnt change anything on the motor to change the tune they shouldnt charge ya they fucked up the tune they should set it up right
When running power adders on a “stock” motor, there is barely ever a 100% safe configuration. Don’t discredit Synapse right away, any number of things could have happened whether it be a stuck injector, or failing fuel pump etc etc etc. Do you log your fuel pressure, injector duty cycle and AFR constantly? Does the car still actively go into closed loop, or is it in permanent open loop? Have you eaten enough hamburgers this month? Do you have a problem with an old man? Are you always wearing pants while driving? Is the nitrous wet or dry?
How many cars has Synapse tuned? How many have died?
