well... hopefully no more GTO> newman's STi threads... (a few new pics, page 2)

geez how many bolts does that fmic use?

those are standoffs for mounting the 04/05 bumper.

be the only 4-500 wheel sti (or evo) that gets out of 13s… ZING

I hate gt35r powered STi’s… slow and not fun

nice little dd you got yourself there

neg.

want to go on sunday?

I might be in too… dont expect much of my car, but it’ll be a base line of what i get out of the rest of my mods ( EBC, kev’s LSD tranny w. better gearing, and converting to OBD-1)

Agreed. With a good run it should do a low 12 at 20 psi but that’s it, especially with all the weight that’s been added to your car. The GT35R doesn’t feel like it wakes up until 23 psi and higher on an STi. Make sure you run it to 7000, especially 4th or it will bog into 5th.

Try to put a lot of city miles on that new clutch before you go launching it at the track.

And just remember, if you do a low 12 it’s better than 90% of the GT35R STis I’ve seen post their times on NASIOC LOL.

it needs some pink under the hood

What’s RR’s best time with the green?

12.1 on race gas, but that was with a shitty clutch.

newman, NLS that bitch and ull run a damn good time

I ran 11s on pump with 3065 on the evo and emery nearly hit 10s on his 35r… most of the stis tend to be a bit high on ets (other than voltron the pseudo sti) newman will hit 11s if he lets me drive

already making ricer excuses.

I think I’ll go to the track on Sunday depending on how sat night goes

RR ran the same time on pump and race since his clutch couldn’t take the torque of the race gas tune after getting heated on a launch. It seemed to hold on the street. RR’s pump gas only time of a very low 12 is consistant with 2 other FP Green’s I tuned that I know track times from.

It’s easy to say Newman should easily run 11’s as the car sits, but I’ve learned it’s not always so easy. I went 11.4 on low boost, then added around 100 hp and 130+ lb/ft by turning up the boost and now I can’t match let alone beat that ET because of spinning and wheel hop.
