I had a mint green Caddy… 1978 DeVille with green interior and green tannau. Had it 1st year of college. Also had a Green (turquois) Eldorado in high school… it was a 79… had a 425 ci with front wheel drive… sucker smoked those tires hard with a good neutral drop! How did you know I was a green caddy fan! LOL

Nice car…again…overpriced… saw them being assembled at the vette plant . Was cool… very short assembly line. Truly hand built in comparison to most GM cars.
I see it as a 60k car… but I generally think everything is overpriced… including the current Atom price. When i ordered mine they started at 35k … mine was optioned to 52k … same car now is 75k. overpriced.

With the looks aside, its pretty bad ass. Its just nice to see any of these cars in our area and on the road.
Ah yes!!! I forgot about that car. Factory Five GTM. Uses corvette C5 suspesnsion components(arms, uprights, brakes, etc) While I haven’t assembled one of those I have been up close to study one and they’re very similar to an Ultima in build, but much cheaper overall cost wise. I think a complete chassis/body kit is about $25K minus the parts you need from GM and of course the engine/Porsche G50 transaxle that you’d want to use… Could probably build one of those for about 50-60K

If GMs are built like crap, I’m sure a KIT CAR based on their parts must be much better…
If you want something plush, write the check for a 911T. Hell you can even get a 360 Modena for 80gs now and tell GM and leaf springs to go fuck themselves.
