Awesome Don. Id have gone this route if I where a real man…On the note of Vanos…my S54 has seemingly developed a bit of hot temp chatter…truthfully I am a little nervous, however it does not see to affect performance even a slight bit.
Don, my VANOS on my '00 sounded like a diesel at idle, still ran hard with no issues. I honestly wouldn’t be that worried about it.
It was a design that you knew that was all about the details. The tape got lifted and re-laid over and over again until it was just so. It is so restrained and elegant. All-star, first string DH.
