i have a '65 beetle already and used to have a '74 super beetle when i was a kid…mechanically they aren’t a whole lot different.

rocky mountain motorworks got bought out or became mid-american motorworks a few years ago… they don’t seem to have as much stuff as they used to since then. WCM and House of Ghia are still around.

i have seen the gas heaters at swap meets, scary devices. i think i’ll just get a swamp cooler.

I love how in 1969 they have the HORRIBLE reflector in the middle of the rear 1/4 panel that look like those reflectors you put up for your plow guy in winter

yeah that was pretty bizarre…unfortunately the development of safety standards regarding lights and bumpers really messed up the lines of all classic volkswagens.
