If your pulling the motor and put a used ko3 in there you must be living on hopes and dreams. Like the other turbo isnt going to blow soon. Since you got it so cheap put 2 k04s in there and not have to worry about pulling the motor again.

The LS1 is more reliable and gets better gas mileage.

Nice pick up, my grandpa had an S4 APR stage 1 and loved it but his was auto.
LOL @ calling a MK4 TDI a piece of crap, and then buying this. This is the 4 rings of pain X 1000. You will be selling the F-bod to keep this alive.
Even though others have pointed it out, putting a used k03 on this car is a waste of time and money.
The only reason I picked up this car was because I always wanted one.
I know the gas mileage is shittier, and it’s a lot less reliable.
On the upside, It’s beyond comfy, it’s the cleanest car I’ve ever bought, and It’s practical.
I bought the car on the premise that it’s cheap as fuck and I’ll probably never get the opportunity to have an S4 that runs for under $5000.
And when the fuck did I call a TDI a piece of crap? I still like them and think they’re cool cars.
