“oh eight” works because people typically refer to a car’s MY by the last 2 digits of the date.
Until we start writing “FS: 010 Civic”, you’re going to sound like a fggt saying “oh ten”.
I remember thinking about this in 1999, and the thought of saying “oh one” was so foreign to me… now it’s commonplace… so hearing someone say “ten civic” sounds odd now, but may become common.
More food for thought. Most people don’t say “oh oh” for 2000… they usually say “two thousand”… maybe people will just suck it up and say “two thousand ten”
