what would you buy for $23,000. im lookin for a new vehicle but im honestly not sure. I would like Brand new but im not sure. New always offers more than used. but whats out there for 23k ( Tiburon, Civic si, Cobalt, …) The Tiburon seems decent with the V6 and a good warranty.
:ninja
Have you considered an Si sedan? Dealers usually let them go a little cheaper and they are sexier IMO.
X2. I would only buy a 4 door civic SI. 2 doors to me are ugly.
Is anyone a Tiburon Fan or no Fans of Hyundai’s
Tiburons are ugly IMO, but probably an ok car for the money. I also have issues trusting Korean car makers.
While I don’t have taste for the Tibs, I don’t mind Hyundai in general. My wife '04 Elantra has been one of the best cars I’ve ever driven or worked on as far as a reliable, fuel efficient ride to get back and forth. Families '06 Sonata is a great car too. Cheap and easy to fix as well, which is pretty important these days.
you could find a used S2K for 15-20, and have a little cusion behind you, to either save or put into it. Not to mention, 23K is almost at used Supra range. I know you said you would prefer new… but shit if i had 23k, i’d spend 15 of that on the car, and put 8 into it. for example… E36 with 8k worth of mods.
i have you hooked on sedans lol
02-03 E46 M3.

get the cheapest car that suits your needs/wants and save the rest of the money… cars suck
pussy
you could probably find a nice used s4 for that or you can be one of the cool kids and get an e36
not if he wants a solid car for a few years :rofl
he’d buy an e36 for $13k and spend $10k in maintenance in 2 years
are they really that bad? i know maitenance is going to be expensive but its a bmw so you have to expect that
yeah F the e36 ;D
+1 on the SI Sedan, they are SICK! ever think about a VW GTI?
Mini Cooper S
Any civic of any year will suit your goals
RSX
2004-gen 2 Dr accord
Altima Se-R
Bwm 3 Series E46
Lexus IS300
2.5 Rs
Wrx
etc etc
What are you looking for?
Luxury? Sportiness? Economy? Price?
How many doors?
Reliabilty important?
Something tuner friendly or stock?
What wheel drive setup?
It’s really not that bad, it’s just little rubber bits that wear out quickly and they take alot of expensive oil so oil changes are $$, but other than that they’re great cars, that was an exaggeration…but you gotta understand the simple fact that these are 13yr old cars now :rofl
Stop spreading this filth just because you dont maintain your car and wait until your unmaintained hooptie breaks big problems and causes big repair bills. LAME!
E36s RULE! The E36s that I’ve owned have been the most reliable by far.
Re: expensive oil changes: Synthetic oil is the same price everywhere. Buy 7 quarts and a filter = $45 max. The BMW service interval is 15,000 miles!!!
15k/5 = 3k (normal oil change)
$45/5 = $9 per 3k miles to operate on oil. What does any other car cost per oil change at 3k miles? Bet its more than 9 bucks.
