Turbo ls1 swapped mkiv supra
1969 Trans Am clone.
427 lsx, 6 bolt heads
Twin turbo
Built 6 speed auto 3200 stall, 4:10 9"
Black leather interior, a/c power steering
Bad ass 1000whp+ on 93 drive across country burn out machine.
Prolly a lil more then 40k lol
since i would be building myself…i would take that 40k and build two cars. both of which i will build in my lifetime.
first would be a cameo. ive loved these ever since i saw one for the first time:
second would be a ratrod model a sedan slammed on the ground:
Fully modern suspension
Modern top of the line braking system
Road race style chassis
Now throw in a fully built NA LSx motor with a hidden bottle for fun.
Now throw an old rat rod body on it to give it a super sleeper look and that I don’t care if it gets dents or dings.
Vintage Euro: BMW 3.0 CSL with a V8 BMW swap would be cool or old 911 with modern swap.
Vintage 'Merica: late 60s Mustang Fastback.
Newer: Caterham or similar build.
Ridiculous idea I may actually consider (and clearly not withn budget) would be an AMS Alpha 9 setup for the 997.
After thinking about this:
Cobra rep
Super 7
gutted audi A8 track car
gutted A8 with LS1 swap and front wheel drive delete
chevy express 2500 van with all wheel drive. Put a regular 4L80 in it and remove the transfer case and install another LS1 in the rear to drive the front wheels. twin engine 1000 hp reliable van. (great on gas*)
chevy express 2500 van remove body bolt seat to frame rails add roll cage and go racing.
B5 S4 remove turbo system and install large supercharger
S65 with downpipes and a tune
a stock mint SHO that is unmodified
factory five makes some amazing cars but I dont’ think any of them are in a 40K price range.
2 of these will actually happen
Turbo’d Coyote Notchback or a GN
I’d buy one of the supercharged H2 hummers on eBay right now for $20k and buy $20k in fuel.
Datsun 510 w/ f20c turbo swap
used 2010 s5 v8 w/ sport diff
no mods req’d, but apr SC for 12g’s extra would be close enough to 40k all in
im easy / boring these days
import S15 Spec R - convert to LHD - 400+ whp (built SR or mild LSX)
and then put the other $15k in the bank
Built STi or Evo
W201 Mercedes 190. DTM wide body, with the most badass NA LSx swap I could manage. Probably have $$ left for all the tires ill need.
64 Lincoln Continental Convertible with some type of LS1 swap.
do a clean toyota supra MKIV or Acura NSX
God how could I forget about a caterham??
I’d buy a really nice Chevy Prizm and drive it into wall.
Then I’d build a super clean Triumph TR6 with an LS1
e30 m3 with s54 or s62
LS1 this LS1 that, jeesh.
