What color should i paint my 240...

After having a really weird dream last night, I’ve decided that i think i’m going to keep the 240 for a while as a “shitty car”. I would use it if i needed to go downtown, or somewhere not super safe, as it doesn’t look “b000wlinnnnnnn”

Anyway… I think that i want it white, but do i REALLY want one red, one white, and one blue car? Can i REALLY handle that level of patriotism?

The only other colors i can think of is a sort of test run of the “urban green” that i am painting the Bimmer with.

Yesterday at canalfest there was a camaro with some weird brownish green paint. Any idea what that color might be?

Or maybe the orange color that 350Zs come with:

Thoughts? The orange might “pop” more than i want it to… not really achieving the subtle look i want. but the green is subtle…

or should i just do white?

other suggestions?

If it’s gonna be a beater, white. Doesn’t show dents and a monkey could make it look straight.

What year Camaro? If it’s like a 70/71/72ish car I think I know the color.

bright orange with confederate flag on top.

or white / creme / semen.

i don’t know if it was stock. it had black racing stripes. it was “an old camaro”… that’s all i know. not the ones that look like fucking terds either… the cool ones.

Darker shade of that orange perhaps?

no to the orange i dont think itll look good. (iv seen it b4 on a fastback)

what about the dark blue factory color?

purple w/ gold rims

Bah, they all look like terds :stuck_out_tongue:

But the first cars, the “classic” Camaro’s, like Joe’s, had these paint colors:

1967

1968

1969

This is what I was thinking of:

it was most like that granada gold poly… but a bit more… greenish/yellowish…

paint it rainbow

do it

/\ WAX GREEN A6M5

black :ohyeah:

if you are planning on selling it you may not wish to do a niche colour like that green or burnt orange.

go with something tamer and more marketable like a black or white or a sharp gun metal.

I cant imagine you are going to remain interested enough in 4 cars to keep them all and your 240 is definately the least interesting of the bunch.

i may just stick with the original white idea…

Bing. give me a front lip. a glass one. to paint. for free.

paint it orange with a japanese flag on the rood and call it the “General Wee”

Quoted for truth…

You HAVE to paint it purple (mix of blue and red… duh), the same scheme from M.A.S.K. character’s Venesa…

I have always seen it listed as a 240, but it is obvioulsy a Z31.

The other option is the two anniversary schemes, Black and Gold two tone or the Blue and Silver.

For some perverted reason I have like the two tone look on 240s. I can not find a pic of the two tone Tan and Brown though…

Whats wrong with painting it to look like the texas state flag?

+1 for that
