Getting sick of USDM tails , always liked Kouki one’s but 700-900$ or 1200$+ for LED is abit more than i would wanna throw towards lights. I am not a JDM whore so i don’t need to “have it”, rather spend than money on bigger turbo or electronics. Not a big fan of altezza crap and those overlay kits.
But these look better than USDM and price is right! Anyone ordered them before any leaks , other issues?

Koukis are by far the best. The Altezzas are only good if you paint them like Louis did. The clear ones look like junk IMO. Theres a group buy on Zilvia for koukis for $400 USD I think and I believe it comes with everything.

i have these on my car. everyone is bashing them, but in person they’re quite neat actually, i think its looking better because the middle peace is black and custom made. i dont think id go with kouki, just because they are $$ and everyone wants them. pretty much personal preference that is. too much chrome on a 180 IMO is tacky.
InitialD - I actually don’t mnd those lights. The only thing I dont like is the chrome rings.

Yea you gotta paint that center section, but IMHO the coupe tails are much nicer from the get go. But please stay away from the ricey chromed stuff. We dont need another wave of those in our city.
eww … best hatch lights are the koukis hands down and I have still not been able to find an aftermarket version that I like or is acceptable . The OneLine lights that are R32 light for a s13 hatch are kind of neat as well as a few version of altezza in Japan but most just look like garbage.

kouki 180sx is the way to go! or the all red and white ones are also nice
but then u know everyone is driving the same light around town like all of those skylines, not like there is anything wrong with them, but im defenately going to tint them so chrome doesnt stand out, otherwise i like the round style, scott’s suggestion isnt my style.
