What do you think of my old roomates Mustang? Nice... or Domestic Rice?

Yeah, he drove around with a piece of clear plexi-glass (sp?) duck taped to the hood for a while.

And yeah, we both go to the Art Institute. He usually parks it on the roof of the parking garage… usually in the same spot every day.

I’ve seen that one too. It’s a convertible also. I saw it heading North of 51 a while back.

His best time to date has been a 14.0 with his old set-up on drag radials. Not too bad for a college student with a 5.0 that had 150K miles on it.

He’s yet to run it at the track since it’s been ‘pimped’.

like i said…just because he beat a couple civics doesnt make it a rice eater

still a cool plate though

the car is a pig, END OF STORY !!!

cool plate if you are in the 11’s, not when you are still in the 14’s. :nono:

I agree w/ whoever said the SN95 like that needs some help visually. It looks really “pedestrian” in stock form. Hot Rod built one yeeeaaars ago that had those SVO side-pipes and for a Mud-stain I thought it looked nice. But the side pipes & skirt make the front and rear facias’s seem too high. The chin-spoiler he put on helps out in front to balance the look, but the rear still looks funky. Of course, any of the rear-facias or add-ons out there look ricer so he’s pretty much screwed on that.

The hood looks terrible. It looks ‘so-so’ on the new Mach but it doesn’t work at all w/ the more rounded pre-'99 body. It might seem minor to most ppl, but I think the hood would look at least a bit better w/o the stock heat outlets or whatever those gh3y little vents are supposed to be. It doesn’t work at all w/ the Mach 1 Shaker vibe. And the 17x8" Bullit wheels just look way too narrow. Much like a 4th Gen. Fbody they need a wider back tire to look right.

Over the winter he’s getting a cam and new heads along with a set of headers. He’s shooting for high 12’s next year.

We went to that Star City cruise in Bridgeville last night. He got a lot of good feedback. It was mostly from the younger crowd. A bunch of dads with their 16 year-old kids would come up to him and talk to him about it.

yeah i always see it… i work in oxford center (big silver building next door) and my office over looks that end of town… i see you guys down there filming it and shit sometimes… he likes to rev it too…i can hear it in my building…

which one of you is the guy that wears the old man hat…

:ugh:

 i remember that dude… he would seriously rev his car for 20 minutes.

Man, I posted this thread over 2 years ago. Doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.

The car looks different now. The hood is gone and so are the side pipes. It also has Cobra R’s.

He hit a 12.85 @ 108 a few weeks ago.

He did love to rev that thing, didn’t he? lol
I don’t remember anyone ever wearing an old man hat. I barely talk to him anymore, but I’ll have to find out who you mean.

The moldings on the side pipes just dont fit the body lines of the car, and neither does the hood. I like the front lip, wheels and color though.

nice but i think the hoods a lil bit riceish

the hoods factory :tool: bag,go learn about cars & than return but dont post!:fart:
