I have three cars. One has a Japanese badge, made in Japan. One has an American badge, made in Canada, with most of the same components as my Japanese car. One has an American badge, assembled in America…out of Japanese parts.
Weren’t F-bodies or Fox-bodies made in Canada? Chrysler is owned by a German corporation now… and most confusing of all: Amanda’s Mini Cooper.
BMW (a German company) puts out the Mini (formerly a product of Rover, an English company). The engine is a Chrysler (American) design produced in Brazil. The funky CVT tranny is made in Belguim, or some other small European country. It’s all put together in England, where they also offer the Mini D with a Toyota (Japanese) diesel engine.
Until recently, Saturn was the most American car company I could think of… but with their assimilation into mainstream GM, who knows?
Honestly, I myself will also be running in the all motor 4 class, and being there watching the races there really were only a few cars in the class. I agree with tony 100% on combining classes with 4/6.
For the turbo guys I can’t really speak because I am not really sure whos going to be fast in the 4’s and 6’s.
