the correct answer is ft-lbf, technically speaking as there is lbm and lbf
this is correct, that’s always a bitch to work with. SI units FTW

WRONG
POWER /= TORQUE.
come on dan, you’re an engineer.
do you mean joules???
watt ~ power = w/t = FD/t = mAD/t ~ kgm^2/s
ft-lb ~ torque = F X D = mAD ~ kgm^2/s^2
ft-lb ~ work =FD = mAD ~ kg*m^2/s^2 = joule
however, work is a dot product, torque is a cross product.

sorry, your right, i was thinking joules but came out watts because i was thinking HP. But what about NEwTONs or NEWMANS?
What about how many watts would that be?
10,000 JIG-A-WATTS!!!
Newman, I think you meant SI units for the loss. Metric FTW! N00b!
Oh come on, if you’re going to quote one of the greatest movies of our childhood get it right:
One point twenty one jiggawatts?! Great Scott!!!

yea its 1.21 jiggggggggggggga watts
yes, in 1975 there was an act passed by congress for metric to be the SU

YAAAAH!!!
Goddam, I’ve got to get more sleep or something. Yep, SI is metric.

ft lb :gotme:
lol.
hmmm.
to answer questions, yes i agree the cross over comes in at a sharp angle, but it works, so its not stressing me out. this is a kit. same one from before. i need to fix some of their fuck ups. there are some nicer kits out now, but, again, it works as well/better than most.
afa the blue, i am aiming that way for the car. i cant make up my mind.
ever have any issues with boost creep?
nope. then again, my turbo isn’t exactly large for my cubage, and i make use of the meat of its efficiency, so the wastegate isn’t really being pushed hard. it works well. if i had a t88, i’d have gone the next step larger
1000 ft lb my ass, that’s impossible without a yellow intake. Nice setup.
are you doing anything about the red fuel rails?
Nice Bill! I need a ride in that slut this summer.
BTW, Gotta love teh 2.5 pages of simantics!
bill- i think your headers are on backwards… exhaust goes to the rear. :gotme:
lol. thanks guys.
ron jon, definitely.
jeeves…i was thinking about that too…the red doesnt quite go with it, but to paint them a diff color would look like shit. they’d need to be anondized or something, and its not that big of a concern to me. ill just be patriotic
